What is Coaching?

Coaching is a semi structured conversation, a powerful transformative journey of self-discovery, goal-setting, and accountability.  Coaching raises self-awareness,  bridging the gaps between where you are now and where you want to be. Coaching focuses on the present and moving towards the future. 

What is Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP)?

NLP core concept is that there is a connection between our neurological processes, linguistic k behavioural programming that has been learned through experience. NLP provides a framework for understanding how people think, how they communicate, and how they change.

NLP explores:

  • How our brain processes information (The "Neuro" part)
  • How we use language to communicate, both with ourselves and others and how language impacts our thinking and behaviour (The "Linguistic" part)
  • How habits and our experiences influences us (The "Programming" part)

How NLP enhances Coaching?

In Jolanta Coaching I integrate Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) techniques only when the situation calls for them. The coaching sessions are client-centred and followed by client agenda.  During coaching session if I feel that client could benefit from specific NLP technique for deeper reflection and more significant change, I then integrate it seamlessly without breaking the coaching flow. Client is aware and permission always asked before we going ahead with NLP technique.

Is coaching confidential?

Yes, during coaching session all provided information stays confidential within the International Coach Federation (ICF) by a strict Code of Ethics. 

 

Can I benefit from coaching if my child does not have ADHD?

While our services are tailored to parents of ADHD children, anyone experiencing day to day challenges or signs of parental burnout can benefit from the support and guidance provided by my coaching.

How can coaching help me?

Coaching for parents of children with ADHD is specifically designed to provide support, strategies and a shift in perspective that can transform your experience. Together we will identify triggers and stress points and develop a sustainable self-care plan. You will have a safe space to process spectrum of conflicting emotions without judgment and gradually build emotional resilience a-  place of calm strength from which you can parent effectively.

How often do I need to attend coaching sessions?

The frequency of coaching sessions will depend on your individual needs and goals. We will work together to create a schedule that works for you. Usually coaching sessions are held virtually weekly or once per two weeks.

How do I get started with coaching?

Simply contact us to schedule free 1:1 40-50 minutes discovery call via Zoom. During discovery call we will find out if Jolanta Coaching is right fit for your needs and how we can work together.
